Riding a cycle is the next best thing to flying like a bird for most kids. Children love to ride their bikes alone and with their friends. Cycling enables them to see new places, explore and to be on your own. It is not only a good pastime but also a very good exercise for mind and body.
Cycling is a healthy exercise to both adults and kids. It is easy to do as well as green and economical. A ride in the park or a quick ride to the nearby shop or maybe the school or office - all are equally rewarding to the heart, muscles, joints, mind and even for your teeth and bones. That is tempting enough!
Cycling makes the heart stronger and enables it to pump more blood, more efficiently. It increases the ability of the cardiac muscles to expand and contract . this will inturn reduce the harmful cholesterol level in the body.
A very good alternative to dieting can be something which will let you spend more time outdoors without the worries of calories. It helps to burn excess fat and accelerates the insulin activities and thereby less prone to being diabetic. Cycling gives powerful leg muscles which is a strong aid in old age.
Ideally, we should be riding in open spaces where you can fill your lungs with plenty of fresh air and sunlight. The skin's exposure to the sunlight encourages the production of vitamin D. Stronger bones and teeth are a natural outcome. Studies have proven that cycling helps to get a good sleep for people with difficulties in sleeping. Also, it increases concentration skills, confidence and alertness in children. This will all lead to a better life and lifestyle.
Modern man is ready to pay anything for stress-relief. Cycling can be a very good stress-relief which will keep you both young and happy. As soon as you mount on your cycle you are in your own world. You are the King, you are the subject. You are lifted up from the surface, yet you feel connected and separate at the same time. You have a new perspective and can look around things with a fresh mind. The cool breeze on your face, the sound of the birds and your ride at the pace that you like is all enough to give you that refreshing break. When you are on the bike you are away from everything around you but still very much in the centre of all that. How amazing! You are so free, strong and yet so.., so very simple in those two wheels.
