Christmas time is always great for rubbish television, that's almost guaranteed. Instead of new, exciting musical film pieces, we get stuck with the old classics. While these are great for family viewing, it can get a little tedious watching the same musical movies every Christmas. Instead of watching the musicals that the television station provides this Christmas, why not treat yourself and the family to a brand new DVD of one of the hottest musical releases of this 2009. There are plenty of them just waiting to be watched, a musical DVD could be the perfect festive treat for a cold Christmas day, and is something that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age. Michael Jackson - The Life And Times Of The King Of Pop 1958-2009

Whilst this DVD is not strictly a musical, it is going to be a huge hit this Christmas ahead of the release of the 'This Is It' movie in early 2010. Not only is this DVD a must-own for any Michael Jackson fan, it also provides family entertainment at the hands of the late King of Pop. It will make a great gift for any family member, fan or not, it gives everyone an opportunity to watch and listen to some genuine talent and the genius that was Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson - The Life And Times Of The King Of Pop 1958-2009 as you can guess from that title, takes a close look at Michael's life from beginning to end. It looks at his family life and how he was born into a then working class family, and the early days with the Jackson 5. It takes you on a journey through his whole life, the ups and the downs, the most memorable songs and, even more spectacular, some of the most brilliant performances of his career. The movie ends on a slight down note of course with his death, but also showcases the amazingly moving memorial service featuring performances from some of the worlds brightest stars including Usher, Lionel Richie, and John Mayer. Christmas time will be a great opportunity for the whole family to sit down and take a look at the life and times of the all time King of Pop.
