I have often been told that life is what you make of it.

This statement is not true in my opinion. I believe that everyone should have Jehovah as a part of their life. Faith comes from believing in a power that is greater than our own, and through that faith comes hope.

An example of hope in my life comes from a personal testimony. There are times in life when you get sad or depressed, but you must find a way to come out of that stage so that you can prosper. So, I decided to find a way for me to dedicate my heart and soul to Jehovah and give him praise. I do this through gospel music. Now when I first started out on this goal, I couldn't sing a note. Again ,the power of faith and hope. I prayed to Jehovah and asked him to anoint my voice so that I could sing and lift up my praises. Hallelujah! Jehovah truly answers prayer.

Since then, I have sung in the choir at my church and asked to do several solos. This is what makes my life alive. Life comes from faith. I truly believe that there is no better joy than being holy-ghost filled. The holy spirit will remove everything negative away from you and allow your mind to think of positive things to do. No weapons formed against you shall prosper. Your enemies will surely become your footstool. Having faith in these things will bless you and those that are around you.

Once you are truly blessed it cannot be recalled. Singing is not the only way to be alive. You could write your praises, you could volunteer your time with the elderly, or just participate in a local church. Whatever your choice just make sure that Jehovah is a part of it. If you put him first there is nothing that you ask him for that he will not give. Also, keep in mind that you must give in order to receive. Make this an everyday routine and things will get better. You will learn to enjoy life in ways that you never thought was possible.

To sum this all up, your life was alive when Jehovah gave you his spirit breath. It is up to you what choices you make. Just rememeber to live holy and pray. Faith comes from prayer and the bible is your guide to learning how to pray.
