I write for many reasons. I write for love of language, the flow of words, and creativity. Writing is an adventure, a grand experience. Writing allows me to express myself in ways unimaginable. I can be whomever I choose in my writing, I can show a side of me that is usually concealed. I write for passion.
Writing gives me hope. It shows me how beautiful words can be, and how those words can form amazing sentences; the sentences glide into paragraphs, and the paragraphs into stories. My stories share a part of me that I can't verbally tell. They resemble my character, my life, my aspirations and dreams. They give a glimpse of who I am, what I like, and where I've been. My stories are a part of me; I put myself into each one. Writing is the ultimate form of self-expression.
The written language mesmerizes me. I find it intriguing and captivating. Sometimes, I wish I could just write all day long. I write because I love to write. Everything about writing makes me feel a great overwhelming sense of pleasure. I put my dreams on paper, my opinions, my thoughts. Everything I write shows me.
To write is to imagine in language. My imagination comes through whenever I write. I am inspired by the creativity of others, and I use my own sense of creativity to its full potential. I believe that writing is such a blessing, and that people should recognize that and take advantage of it.
The English language may not be a romantic or beautiful one, but it represents the collaboration of different languages in America. When manipulated correctly, the English language can produce dramatic, moving works of art. Also, there are so many words to choose from! I adore being able to have several words mean similar things. In addition, the dictionary is a powerful tool for finding synonyms and new words. I love being able to write with so many options.
Writing can be motivational. The power of writing can move people, alter their opinions and change their minds. It can be inspirational, helping people to cope and deal, giving them hope. I write because I feel I can share my stories and help people. Writing for me is a way to assist those in need, and guide those who require guidance. I enjoy writing these types of essays on many different levels.
I write for the love of writing. For the sheer joy that comes out of putting my words on paper, and having my voice heard. The thrill of creating something entirely mine, something that is a product of my mind. I write because it makes me happy, and nothing will ever change that.
