If you love to travel but you don't want to get lost, the Where to? GPS Pointer app for the iPhone may be the right app for you. Although you already have the built-in Google Maps app, which is just as easy to use and free, the Where To? app can be useful if you want your searches to be more organized. All in all, the app is smooth and is pretty accurate and is probably worth its price tag depending on your needs.
The Where To? app is nothing new; in fact, there are many other apps out there that are exactly like this one. However, I think that the decision on which one to choose will largely depend on what kind of person you are. For example, since I am the kind of person who likes things to be neatly categorized, I enjoy using Where To? GPS Pointer. Additionally, Where To? is not all about predictability. You can shake up the app and it will choose a restaurant for you. If you don't like the restaurant, just shake the app again.
I think that the interface is also appealing and very sensible. If you want to look at a written list of the categories, you can do so. If you want symbolic representations, you can also do that. The app is also streamlined with many of the iPhone's other capabilities. For example, you do not have to memorize any street addresses or phone numbers. Just tap on the address if you want to see the map and tap on the phone number if you want to call the establishment. If you want to add any of these addresses or phone numbers to your contacts, you can also easily do so.
One of the parts about this app that I enjoy best is the ability to see where I am while I am going to my destination. This is a feature that can also be used on the built-in Google Maps app. This is a really useful feature that will helpfully help me avoid getting lost.
I highly recommend Where To? GPS Pointer app. The only con about this app is that the update is not free. However, if you can get past that and think about all of the included features in this app, I think that you will agree that the initial price of $2.99 is worth it.
