Natural ACNE treatments and effective home remedies.

Acne is a serious skin condition that affects millions of people, teenagers to adults, men and women alike. Caused by an acute hormonal imbalance that will stimulate an overproduction of the sebaceous glands, acne manifests itself by the presence of blemishes and persistent redness, due to inflammation.

There is a distinct difference between occasional breakouts (a temporary inconvenience, but annoying nevertheless) and the medical condition (cause by active proliferation of bacteria).

A simple pimple requires a less complicated treatment and could disappear in just a couple of days without leaving a dark mark or causing permanent scaring. In the other hand, a full blown acne condition characterized by the presence of pustules, nodules and cysts, needs to be treated with patience and plenty of knowledge.

Best way to clean an oily skin is by using a mixture of whole milk with a few drops of lemon or lime juice. Milk could also be mixed with baking soda (dissolved in very little water) and used with a cotton ball to clean the face of impurities and excess oil.

Next step should be the use of a toner made of water, cucumber juice and apple vinegar. Such an effective non alcoholic toner will remove any residue present on the skin after the cleaning, but more importantly
