Holding Christmas together may be a little easier with some fun and interesting Christmas clothes pin crafts. There are may types of clothes pin, but most crafts call for wooden clothes pin. Old fashion doll pins offer a full round top. Kraft clothes pin have a round top, but no dimension. (The face is flat). Spring clothes pins offer a little snap and the option of miniatures.
~ Clothes Pin Christmas Angel ~
Supplies
*craft clothes pin
*white paint
*flesh tone paint
*paint brush
*fine tipped black marker
*metallic pipe cleaner (silver or gold)
*glitter marker (silver or gold)
*coffee filters
*yarn
*glue
1. Paint the round head of the craft clothespin flesh tone. Allow to dry.
2. Paint the bottom of the clothespin completely white. Allow to dry
3. Cut a 1inch strip around a coffee filter's fluted edge.
4. Pinch the trimmed coffee filter in the center and insert it into the clothespin, creating the wings.
5. Make the angels robe from a 2nd coffee filer. Drape it around the clothespin and glue it at both ends.
6. Cut five or six short strands of yarn and fray them. Glue the hair to the angels head.
7. With the fine tip marker give the angel a beautiful little face.
8. Use the metallic pipe cleaner for a halo.
9. Complete the gown with a sweep of glitter paint to match the halo across the bottom of the robe.

*doll clothespin
*glue
*ribbon (red 1/4 inch wide)
*felt hat
*two small black pompoms
*wiggle eyes
*fine tipped black marker
*white pipe cleaner
*white snow paint
*fish line
*hanger
1. Tie fish line around the neck of the clothespin and tie dangling from the hanger.
2. Spray paint the entire doll clothespin with artificial snow paint. Allow 24 hours for the clothespin to dry.
3. Wrap a pipe cleaner around to make arms for the snowman.
4. Glue on the felt hat.
5. Attach wiggly eyes with glue. Draw on the face.
6. Glue on pom pom buttons.
7. Tie a ribbon scarf.
8. Add a ribbon for hanging.

These are great to help lights stay on, attach ornaments, hang Christmas cards and this is an easy craft.
Supplies:
*traditional wired wooden snap clothespins
*red acrylic paint
*white acrylic paint
*green acrylic paint
*stamps
*stamp pads
1. Paint the entire clothespin a solid color and allow to dry.
2. Stamp designs on the clothespins
Here are some festive suggestions. On red and green clothespins do a white snowflake stamp. On a white clothespin do a holly leaf stamp. On any colored clothespin do traditional bulbs or ornament shapes of any color. The only limitation is the different kinds of stamps.
Clothespins have been around a long time. They make a good craft medium and can help hold this Christmas together. There is at least one example for every kind of clothes pin.
