Accomplishing inner peace, may require meditation, a realization of what makes you truly happy. Once you evaluate and take inventory of those things that make you truly happy. You, may first begin by thinking on those things. It will take you only a few seconds to prepare your spirit and mind to ascend to that higher place , where inner peace resides. No. I'm speaking of meditation. No heavenly excursion required. Just, thinking thoughtfully on anything that delights your soul and brings you a sense of inner peace. People have made this theory, much more complicated than it really is. Breathing deeply, as your mind wanders freely. Inviting in positivity and releasing negativity. Each time a negative thought enters your thinking, immediately replace it with a positive thought..
These are helpful tips and eventually your thought process will acclimate itself to doing this automatically. In simplistic terms get rid of or discard , what is not useful. The woman, who was rude to you. What do you need with that thought. Discard the image of her behavior and replace it with a smile of a child you love.
Author, Norman Vincent Peale wrote ,"Change your thoughts and you can change your world". Everyone has heard the concept of "Positive Thinking". Look at it, this way, what good does it do you to look at anything negatively, before it comes into existence? Assuming it will come into existence will reek havoc and vex your spirit. Please don't do that. You have come a long way baby. Why let anything or anyone steal your joy or rob you of your inner peace?
Yes , at the time, the rude woman, may have unnerved you and ruffled your feathers. That moment has passed, it won't be revisited, unless you decide to go back and give her a piece of your mind. Please, don't do that. We need our whole mind to enter into this inner peace.
I must direct you to this scripture, found in the Bible, so that this example may be easier to understand. Phillipians4:8 simply states, redirecting our thoughts control our being. By directing your thought patterns, you are in control and can command your inner peace. These have been offered as quick tips, just like everything else, it will have to be practiced, so that it becomes an automatic response, to train your mind where you desire it to go. A caution to you, I never said it would be easy, but I highly recommend the effort it takes to achieve "inner peace".
