You know it is time to break up when you have to question the relationship you are in.
Many people stay in a relationship when it has gone sour, due to habit. Once you are in the habit of a relationship sometimes it is hard to know when it is time to break up.
Nothing is easy, especially when it comes to relationships gone sour. Here are a few things to keep in mind when deciding whether it is time to leave the relationship you are in.
First of all a warning sign is that you are tossing back and forth the question of whether it is time to quit. Obviously something is making you feel this way and question the relationship you have. If you have reached this point it is time to decide the negative from the positive in regards to staying in the relationship.
A person usually just knows when it is time to break up. When nothing is as it once seemed. When there is no spark anymore and the person you once loved has changed into a different person over time.
Waiting to see if things can get better depend on the situation. Sometimes if problems or doubts or the over all feeling of things going stale is a new found feeling, there is no need to jump to the ending in haste. Take your time and take a good look at the relationship you have.
There are some things that can be overcome. If you have hit a bumpy road in your relationship but still feel you would like things to work out. The best thing you can do is talk to your partner and see what can be done. If both of you can not come to an agreement on how to make things better? It is time to go your separate ways.
Trust in a lot of relationships ends up broken. With broken trust it is a hard road to smooth out once damaged. The old saying of, if you do not have trust, you have nothing, is very true. So if you are in a relationship that has broken trust as a root of problems sometimes the best thing to do is part. There is nothing more stressful then a relationship built on no trust.
Many people dissect their situations looking for a sliver of hope or a reason to stay in what has gone bad. Life is too short to stay in a situation that makes you unhappy.
Breaking up is never an easy thing to do, as well as there is no good time to do it. As far as when to break up goes? Only you know. If it is truly time to say goodbye to your partner you will just know.
If you question if it is time to break up, you can always make a list and write the reasons down of why you are contemplating this. Sometimes it is easier to read your own list then it is to think of a scattered list of reasons.
You know when it is time to break up when everything you once felt is non existent or not repairable.
