The day the sun stopped shining
and the earth stood still in air
the moment when no breath was left
and in me was no care
this was the day love faded
When two became one left here
and one that walked away
loneliness and devastation
came instead to stay
was the day that love left
When sorrow filled the void
where love had always been
and one was sure that never
would by the other again be seen
was the day love was gone
