Gemmed is an app game that is akin to Bejeweled. As a person who loves these types of games, I was admittedly excited to try Gemmed. I first read the developers' description of the game, and the one thing that caught my attention was the addition of the monsters to a Bejeweled-type game. And, because the full version was only $1.99, I figured that it would be worth a try.

I do not expect much from most games that only cost $1.99. However, I do expect them to deliver some of what the developers say they would deliver. For example, the developers of Gemmed say that there is "smooth gameplay." I think that when playing this game, all of the controls are smooth, but I would also have liked to add that Gemmed is a little bit frustrating.

Even though I enjoy the "monsters" twist, I admit that sometimes I would rather not have the monsters around. I found myself many times trying to allow the monster to escape, and the monster may only be a few blocks away. You could spend more than just a few minutes trying to get the monster out. I think that the developers should have added some sort of feature that would immediately allow the monster to escape after the player has accumulated a certain number of colored blocks. For example, once the player removes 30 red blocks, the player may be awarded with a bomb that immediately allows one monster to escape.

At any rate, I think that the graphics are pretty good for what you pay for. There are plenty of apps that are quite expensive and their graphics are not even close to the graphics found in Gemmed. I think that the developers' asking price of $1.99 is reasonable, considering the type of gameplay and graphics that are available. If this app were to be less, it would be surprising.

Gemmed can also be played by anyone; from young children to adults, and everyone in between. I enjoy playing Gemmed whenever I get a few spare minutes: when I am waiting in long lines or when I am waiting for someone. Gemmed is a fun and easy game that allows me to be relaxed, even if I do feel pressured to save the monsters in time.

All in all, I recommend Gemmed to anyone who wants to find a decent game app that actually delivers what it is meant to deliver. It is an interesting game that will keep anyone entertained while the game is being played.
