I love maze games. With that said, I thought it would be fun to try the Mazefinger game app for my iPhone. I thought that this particular maze game would be fun and provide an interesting twist. However, even though the gameplay itself is fun and somewhat addictive, I have to add that the app itself needs a serious revamp considering that the player must log on in order to play. This feature seems to be outrageously useless, and prevents people from playing the game whenever they wish.
Mazefinger is pretty simple. The player controls an object that looks very much like a bolt of lightening. Then, the player has to guide that ball of lightening to the end of the maze before the ball's "energy" runs out. So, while you are playing the game, you will undoubtedly be blinded with the very bright light of the lightening. At any rate, I think that this adds some suspense and tension to the game.
The mazes themselves are fun, too. The mazes seem like they would never end, which also adds to the tension in the game. So, in addition to getting to the end of the maze without losing all of your energy, you also have to somehow find the end of the maze.
Anyone can play this game and I highly recommend it to children and young adults. It would have been interesting to play this anywhere, especially when I am stuck in long lines or I am just waiting for something or for someone.
However, with the new update and the addition of the requirement of logging on, I do not think that many people will want to play this game any time soon. I want to be able to play a game whenever I want to, without the hassle of logging on every time I want to do so. The developers have decided to require their game players to create an account with them, which seems suspicious to many downloaders who thought, at first, that this cost-free game would remain basically cost-free.
I do not think that people would want to buy from the developers of Mazefinger any time soon, largely due in part to their outrageous requirements. However, because Mazefinger was free, I do not think that many people would complain. Unfortunately, this is another app that has gone into the dumpster, since I am one of those who are reluctant to create an account for a free game.
