Pros and cons of working for Avon/ Mark.
Although Avon has been around for a long time, Mark is fairly new. Mark features things like make up, clothes, make up brushes etc.
Now there are pros and cons when working for Mark. Let us first look at pros.
Variety. Mark offers a variety of merchandize. You do not have to limit yourself to only selling make up. Mark has also available other items. These items include face cleaners, exfoliators, clothes and jewelry. They also offer a great Self Sanctuary body collection. This collection offers body butters, fizz balls, body mists, that have four distict and beautiful smells.
Flexibility. When you work for Mark you are an independent seller and you can work from home. This way you don't need to worry about going to an office and working a fixed, 9-5 work schedule. There are two ways you can sell. You can sell in person and you can also open you eboutique store. So if you do not feel comfortable about handling cash you can always open your eboutique and let your customers order from internet. Plus with internet you have more available customers and more income potential.
Convenience: As a mark independent representative you do not have to keep stock. When you place an order or your customer orders from your eboutique store online, the merchandize is directly shipped from the Mark warehouse. (No more worrying about storing the merchandize at your house.) It takes about 4 to 7 business days for the order to arrive depending where the delivery needs to be made, via UPS.
Direct deposit. Up until this year mark used to put the money you make on your debit or credit card when you ordered. Now they offer direct deposit. This allows your earnings to be deposited directly in to your checking or saving account.
Promotional codes. There are plenty of promotional codes that you can use when checking out. These codes are sent directly to you or you can go to the representative forums and get them there.
Now let us look at the cons of working for Mark.
Back order items. You can never know when the item that is on back order will become available. You can only either sign up to be notified about its availability or just keep checking to see when item becomes available.
Mark website. The downside of the website is that it is made with acrobat player. So if your customers do not have acrobat player they will not be able to see the items and navigate the website. Not to mention sometimes the website is down by itself.
