Liberated
Jack sat alone in his room
Pondering the outcome
of,
his misadventures
Were less impressive
than
He was promised
Everything he desired
if,
He followed the instructions carefully
But that got him
everywhere
He shouldnt have been,
so expectant.
Realizing he should be weeping,
Jack went outside and climbed
The tallest oak
he could find
Was smiling back at him.
At this moment
Jack laughed
Refusing to believe
Life was something,
To cry about.
