"Daybreak Coronet" is a white aura enchantment printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Future Sight." From the looks of this card, you would want to enchant this on a creature that is already enchanted. If you have a deck with a few notable creature enchantments, then the Daybreak Coronet is a card you may want to consider looking into for the most part.
The converted mana cost for the Daybreak Coronet is two. You will need two white mana to play Daybreak Coronet onto the battlefield and enchant it onto a creature. For what the Daybreak Coronet can do, the cost of two mana is well worth it for the most part. Keep in mind that Daybreak Coronet is an enchantment spell. It means that Daybreak Coronet is susceptible to anything and everything that affects enchantment spells.
What does Daybreak Coronet do in the first place?
To start things off, you have to enchant Daybreak Coronet an already enchanted creature. The creature enchanted with Daybreak Coronet will receive +3/+3, First Strike, Vigilance, and Lifelink. Giving a creature +3/+3 is always good for the most part because it means you have a stronger attacker and defender. The added abilities are just as nice.
First Strike ensures that your creature will be the first to deal combat damage. However, it does not work against creatures with First Strike as the ability will fizzle. It will not work against creatures with Double Strike. Creatures with Double Strike will dish out First Strike damage and then regular damage. For other creatures, First Strike is a very helpful ability.
Vigilance allows creatures to attack without having to tap. In this respect, the enchanted creature can attack and defend at the same time. Being able to attack and defend at the same time is a great ability.
Lifelink is really good because you gain life points whenever you cause combat damage.
However, there is a risk to it. The creature could still get destroyed. In this respect, you may want to enchant the creature with something like "Indestructibility" before enchanting it with Daybreak Coronet. Also, do not enchant the creature with something like "Aspect of Mongoose" first. Creatures enchanted with Aspect of Mongoose get the ability of Shroud. In this respect, you would not be able to enchant it with Daybreak Coronet.
In this respect, you can enchant the creature with Indestructibility first. Then, you enchant it with Daybreak Coronet. And then you can enchant it with Aspect of Mongoose or equip it with "Whispersilk Cloak."
In a white deck, you can add in "Boon Reflection." You can use the ability of Boon Reflection with the Lifelink ability. Should you gain life points via the Lifelink ability, Boon Reflection doubles it.
Overall, Daybreak Coronet is quite the impressive enchantment card. A bunch of abilities for only two mana sounds good. All you have to do is enchant the creature with something else first. And then you can enchant it with the Daybreak Coronet.
