Romance in the Moonlight
Love was calling outside her window under the twilight hours of the moonlit sky above for Diane and Marco. The two were madly in love with each other but one conflicting spirit kept them apart. Diane's parents were restricting their desires from seeing one another as much as they would have liked. Her parents would immortalize in misjudgments of Marco's appearance as they saw him as a common male with a cold soul. That was untrue and Diane saw more in Marco than what his outer character might sublimely speak of him.
On that one spontaneous night, Marco stood outside Diane's window unfathomed by her parent's presence nearby. Within his Italian accent he whispered in her ear and spoke his true feelings for her in his utmost virility. Run away with me he implied as he grasped her hand and held her as a prayer. Denial was visible in the glare within her eyes as she denied his offer and replied, My love this is not the answer, our love can wait until the morning. His passion for her would not accept her refusal as he just wanted to spend one more night with her but he had to say next caused her eyes to tear.
He declared his grief as he stated, I don't' know if I can wait to the morning, my parents will be moving back to Italy and I do not want to risk ever losing you. Confused by his declaration her voiced slowly increase from the mutual feelings, which she possessed inside for Marco. Oh Marco, I do not want to risk losing your love. she spoke as a loud knock at her bedroom door was heard throughout her room. Knock-knock! Diane, Why are you awake. Her father speaks. The sound of her father's voice convinced Diane that her love for Marco was all that mattered.
She raised her leg over the edge of her window and climbed out in her nightgown. Marco reassured her safety, as he was there to catch her if she fell. Holding her within his arms their bodies touched once again in harmony. He led the way as they ran off into the night holding hand in hand. Their escape led them through the woods as they ran in laughter as they kissed all the way to the bank of the river.
Once there they stumbled upon an old wooden riverboat that was left abandoned on the side of the river. Marco suggested they use the boat and paddle down stream since he was holding something special that he wanted to give to Diane. Come jump on, there is something I would like to show you. Says Marco but Diane felt insecure of getting on the boat but Marco persisted and grabbed her hand assuring her that it will be safe. He assisted her onto the boat as he began to push it into the waters and road off under the moonlit sky.
It was a moment they will forever remember as they stared into each other's eyes and saw the moon's reflection. Marco knew this was the moment he was waiting for as he reached into his pocket and pulled out diamond ring, which belonged to his late grandmother Vita. He asked, Will you marry me, Diane? Overcome with emotions, Diane holds his hand as if in a prayer and says, Yes! At last they were destined to be together while in the darkness of night they continued to kiss. Howbeit, their moment came to an end as they kissed since either of them noticed that a waterfall was coming over the horizon, so they fell to their deaths and died in each other's arms.
