HUMOR: HOW TO ACQUIRE HUMOR

For those who are not born with humor or brought up by humor parents who instill humor into their offspring by getting them to watch comedies on the television and telling them jokes there are several ways you can acquire a sense of humor

* Save as much money as you can, then go onto an online shop such as Amazon or Ebay. They sell humor in a variety of different shapes and sizes. You may find that you only want a few ounces of humor, just enough to get you through a few months, or you might prefer to bulk buy and get enough to last for a few years. Sometimes you can pick up a bargain by buying some second hand humor, which is, of course, a lot cheaper than brand new. Maybe someone has died and they have done a house clearance. If the person was very prim and proper and boring they may have had some humor laying around their house for years, barely used and as good as new.

* Enter lotteries and competitions. Sometimes the prize is money, which you can use to buy yourself some humor, other times the prize is some humor. Humor also makes a wonderful Christmas present. It is something you can give to young or old, male or female as it is unisex. If you have any frosty old aunts you have to spend Christmas with it might be a good idea to buy them some humor as their Christmas present, so that they are better company when you have to endure their company for the holiday.

* Get hold of an authentic treasure map, a compass and a spade. Travel to the place marked X on the map and start digging. You will either find a chest full of gold pieces, precious jewels or some other valuable items. You can either sell these items so that you can buy some humor or you might find that a pirate buried some humor in the chest. They bury all sorts of valuables in these chests so you never know what you might find.

* Wait until it is dark and your jovial fun loving neighbours are out for the evening, then break into their home and rob them. You will find all sorts of wonderful delights that you can steal and bring home, including their sense of humor. But do try to make sure they are out first, otherwise it could result in a fight and you being arrested and thrown in prison. It is also a good idea to make sure you have a cast iron alibi in case anyone realises that as from the day of the robbery you have acquired a sense of humor and puts two and two together.
