I don't know for sure who started the, "forward to," issue. Even so, since I believe whomever he or she is should be arrested or at least exposed for abusing the truth, I think I'll forward this article to people like you. In fact, I'm willing to bet that it's safe to assume this whole issue began with the town gossip in Washington DC who has some kind of grudge for a political enemy. The reason I assume this is true is because every forwarded message I receive these days sounds like the town gossip who lives down the street from me, who remains my town's worst enemy. She gossips about everyone and everything.
That's why it seems logical to me that the forwarded-to issue began in Washington D.C. Still, the problem with forwarded based messages is the fact that you never know who the source of the force might be which creates what I've come to describe as, "universal rumors everyone on earth hides behind," which tend to create nothing short of a terrorist attack on societies. This issue gets huge when you consider the fact that the source of this force seems to be online all the time, where gossip and rumors are spread throughout heaven, earth and the universe. I'd call it a curse, but it's worse. Messages forwarded on fear based hate are more often than not just a way to disgrace the USA. After all, we the people of the United States are the only human beings on earth who have the time and energy it takes to be online all the time. Besides, I find that most forwarded messages I receive do more harm than good for me, so why share such stuff with anyone I know or love?
For the sake of debate, let's assume this issue began with the town gossip in Washington DC, but since politically based forwarded messages always sound like the town gossip who lives down the street from me, I'll try to describe the issue all town gossip's create. What they do is to produce the abuse of the truth by gossiping and forwarding rumors based on false information and opinionated views which have nothing to do with the truth.
It's like the time I received a forwarded message from my ex-friend asking me to sign a petition, based on yet another forwarded message she received from someone who believed the president of the United States was just about to pass an act that would tax us on every milkshake we drink, right after he took all our guns away. Okay? She was surprised with my reply, "Well, at least we'd not be so fat with that tax, and besides, we'd have no need to call 9-11 if the president took away all our guns. I'd say it's just his way to give us all a big tax break."
I don't know about you, but it doesn't make sense to me to forward anything that makes people afraid of the president of the United States. For heaven's sake, what makes people afraid tends to create monsters in their minds that bite our society's behind all the time. They also tend to create the hate it takes to forward even more monsters to fight, especially when the monster comes from someone's misinformed and misguided mind.
Besides, we'll never know who the source of the force might be, will we? It could be someone on the brink of insanity. It might come from some foreign country, but since we, "the people," in the USA tend to insist that everyone on earth speak and write in English, the source of hate could be anyone from anywhere or it could even be you or me who becomes the hidden enemy. Still, I believe it's the town gossip in Washington DC, and someone with some political agenda based on some jealousy issue. All I know is that he or she must be best friends with the town gossip who lives down the street from me. She and the town gossip in Washington DC agree on everything. Neither of the two have anything better to do than to make people afraid, create hate and abuse the truth. I assume it's just their way to feel superior. It's sad, but it's worse than that. You see, what you choose to think, say and do will come back to haunt you. Believe me, it's true.
In fact, I got a haunting message from her just the other day, and of course, it was one of those messages I've come to know as, "a forwarded fear based way to spread hate based on some political opinionated message received by the source of the force down the street." I don't know why, but she feels the need to share her bitter beliefs with me eventually. That's fine and I could always delete what she sends me, but I know she'll send it to all my friends too. Of course, since opinions don't always have anything to do with the truth, it's always surprising to see how many human beings are willing to believe what some bitter old soul forwards them. Why do people assume that opinionated views must be based on true news? That's what happens when people choose to watch FOX news. It's as if the fact that something is documented in print or seen on a big screen TV makes it real and/or true, and when you forward it on to even more friends, that's when the false information you send creates a way to make everyone in the USA appear to be just a bit mentally ill. After all, the whole world is listening too. Still, considering I actually choose to read the thing, what does that make me?
Then again, I was only the 101st person she'd forwarded that particular message to the other day, and it's only because she wants to, "Save the USA." How noble it seems and it might be great, except for the fact that she expects me to believe we need to save the USA from the President of the USA, who she believes is disguised but is actually, "The Anti-Christ." The only reply that comes to my mind is to say, "Okay, whatever you say?" It's just because I find it's wise to back away from what insane people say. In fact, she also wants to, " take the country back," and since I'm a democrat, it seems to me that it's as if she believes the country only belonged to her and all but 1 of her 101 friends. It makes no sense. Then again, that was the last word I've heard from her.
You see, I finally replied to ALL on her self righteous friends list something I don't think they get which is this: "From whom do you plan to take the country from?" After all, it's MY country too. That's why, after that, I added another fact to ask the town gossip down the street to answer for me. "Besides, how could we do all that based on nothing but false facts?" No one ever re-replied to me, so I'm assuming they'll be gossiping about me at her next tea party.
