Exploring the concept of immortality

What is everlasting life? Is living forever really worth it? Does it come with consequences? YES, Immortality comes with a very hefty price.

Immortality in my own opinion of course, is a curse rather than a gift. Immortality shows greed and the undying need for further satisfaction. Everlasting life, it sounds so wonderful but behind this feeling of wonder lies a darker side. Life everlasting will always bring much pain and much hardships in life. A loved one passing, a friend suffering are just few of the things that you will see once you grab hold of this vile and despicable tittle. Can someone really stand the pain of watching every single one of his loved ones helplessly passing on before his very eyes? will you continue on living when you have nothing left to life for? will you, an immortal continue to watch as others go on and leaving you behind this world in once they dwelled. Will you, as an immortal bear the burden of watching over the world as it engulfs itself in the disasters the people before you have brought? Questions will start to swirl around your head once you start to realize that living life as an immortal is rather a job, a curse and not a gift from god.

We are constantly faced with a fork in the path we travel, through the journey we are living which is life we are forced to make decisions in which everything we decide will in the end, only lead to death. Death is a word that scares of every living thing, but death is just an inevitable path we all must take. Look at death, not as the end but as a doorway to new world. A world beyond this one. Soo why live life as an immortal here, when you can continue on living in a whole new realm. A realm filled with brand new opportunities. A world filled with much mystery and with much pleasure as this one has to offer. Why seek what you already posses, when you can go out there and pursue another goal, solve another mystery and go about wandering in a place you hardly new in where it has all the excitement it has to offer. Forget immortality, everything happens for a reason. Death is a part of that and it will only lead us to something much, much better...
