November is the month to start your vacation. From great deals on the internet to booking a trip with your travel agent, there's always a fantastic location waiting for you to explore! You can begin your search by browsing a variety of travel deals online through websites such as Expedia, Travelzoo, Orbitz or Priceline. These are excellent sites to find local deals. A great tip to snatch fantastic deals is to be open for any destination, either close to your home or maybe on the other side of the country!

Most people are lucky enough to embrace a four-day Thanksgiving weekend. This is a perfect time to visit small towns or visit big cities you've always wanted to go to, such as San Francisco, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Boston or virtually any location you desire. But considering great travel package deals, the more popular destinations can be your winning destination for this time of year.

In San Francisco, you can tour place such as the Golden Gate Bridge or have a delicious bowl of clam chowder at Fisherman's Wharf or travel around the area on the trolleys, or cable cars. Or, try Dallas with its amazing shopping malls and eateries to grab a hearty meal. If you ever wanted real juicy and tasty barbecue, Dallas or anywhere in Texas is the place to go!

Head back to the west coast to Los Angeles and you can visit Hollywood and follow the tracks of your favorite movie stars, musicians or even your favorite reality television personality. You can take a walk down the Walk of Stars and find your favorite star! Or, visit New York, with plenty of shopping and touristy opportunities at Ellis Island, Manhattan and even visit the original Macy's department store in downtown! Or, if you're a big fan of the Red Sox, buy a set of baseball tickets and enjoy a weekend of sports and fun in the heart of Boston! You can even chow down on great eats in the area. Boston chowder, anyone?

So, really, your travel options are endless. Just keep an open mind. But finding the right deals at the right time will save some money on the wallet, while you find a destination that you, your friends and family can enjoy. Traveling during Thanksgiving can be fun - you can have your turkey anywhere!
