For the many various types of people that like to use vacation clubs, there are at least a few vacation clubs geared directly to their likes, dislikes and lifestyles. From singles seeking companionship for travel and shared expenses to families looking for a different experience each vacation, the only limit is your imagination when it comes to joining a vacation club. But, what type of vacation club is right, or best for you?
The popular vacation clubs like Disney's various entries, cruise liners like the Queen Elizabeth franchise or the Royal Caribbean, or on-line vacation clubs like travelocity.com or universalvacationclub.com will have various types of clubs catering to various people. The benefits of joining a vacation club vary from finding a person with similar likes and favourite destinations and adventurous spirits. Families can hook up with other families if like sizes, with the idea of sharing a lodging that each family would not be able to afford alone, but together, the cost is affordable. They just have to learn to get along.
Most vacation clubs are associated with certain airlines, cruise lines, hotel chains or resorts. The initial sign-up fees and/or yearly membership fees are more than made up for with the savings realized by joining the vacation club of your choice, as long as you do use the club, at least once or twice a year for singles or couples, and at least once a year for families (since the more people involved usually requires a higher membership fee). All-inclusive resorts that charge $2,500 a week for single cabins have associations with vacation clubs where off-season usage could cost less that a quarter of the high-season costs.
One thing that you should not expect out of a vacation club would be to be able to go where you want, when you want, at the price you want to pay. There are travel bartering sites, where you make your desires known, and a person or business may get back to you with what you asked for, or something very close to it. Imsbarter.com and others allow you to post your travel wishes, and travel agents, vacation clubs and even people with travel vouchers that they can no longer use can get back to you with offers. Whether you take the offer or not is up to you.
When the vacation bartering is done on-line with a stranger, there is always the case of buyer beware to reckon with. But when the vacation bartering is done on a recognised travel bartering club, of which you can join for rather inexpensive membership fees, you are guaranteed of the validity of the vacation package that you barter for, as the vacation bartering site only accepts tenders from people who can prove that they do have what they are bartering with.
No matter what your lifestyle or vacation desires, there is a vacation club that will cater specifically to your personal requirements and wishes. Simply type what type of vacation club that would intrigue you into your Internet search engine, and browse through the many returns. Before doing business with any of the vacation clubs, check with the Better Business Bureau or the Travel Industry to see if there are many complaints against the club.
Travel safe.
