I'll call you
I promised
To stay out of trouble
Was his promise
I never called
I had broken my promise
Trouble found him
Into trouble he went
He had broken his promise
Two broken promises
One lost life
Thousands of tears shed
One broken heart
One guiltily bruised conscious
The price for a broken promise
Is a high one
I can't afford to pay
I'll never break another promise
I promise.
In loving memory of EJ

Poetry: Promises

Promises
I took a chance and I believed
That dreams could still come true,
It wasn't very long before
I fell in love with you.
You
My Promise To You
I close my eyes seeing visions of us enthralled in a never ending romance
The way that I have fallen in
Promise’s To You
A promise is a special thing
Not meant to be thrown about
So these words I freely give to you
To
A promise to all my children...
I can't promise you the moon, I can't promise you the sky.
I can't promise you that
REMEMBER YOUR PROMISES
I really pray, that I could see
after many years have passed,
that all be what they dreamt to be
in promises
