It is one of those issues that everyone feels strongly about, an issue that tears at the heart of the human conscience, pleading to be resolved. Abortion is never an easy topic to address. There are too many emotions involved, too many reasons to make excuses for doing whatever it is you need to do. And then there is information to help you make an educated decision about all of your choices. No longer is the issue about who's right and who's wrong. Instead it becomes personal, an issue about what you need to know to do what's right for you.

Facebook's Abolish Abortion cause spends time teaching about what happens to mom's and babies during an abortion. They raise awareness about the latest information available, strong scientific evidence that explains in graphic detail how embryo's are removed and discarded. These images are not for the faint of heart, or anyone unwilling to see and understand the science behind the politics of pro-choice and pro-life movements.

The Abolish Abortion cause on Facebook only has 590,231 members in it as of November 2009. That's less than half a member for every child aborted annually, a very sad statistic indeed. For all of the millions of users on Facebook, there isn't at least one to stand up for every child aborted each year. Funds raise for this cause are also minimal at best, not quite $16,000 as of November 2009. The founders aren't in it for the money or recognition, but to give a voice to children conceived and growing in their mother's wombs.

The mission statement for the Facebook Abolish Abortion cause reads, "The mission of Students for Life of America is to: educate pro-life college students about the issues of abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide; identify pro-life student leaders; equip college pro-lifers with the training, skills and resources to be effective and successful; promote student activity to other local, college and national groups." Our college kids, who are preparing to raise and support families are the ones hosting this cause. They are reaching out to their peers and anyone who will listen, and doing what they can to make a difference in the life of a child and society as a whole. That's what we taught them to do, and thankfully they listened to us.

Then you can invite all of your Facebook friends and support a cause that works to educate people and defend innocent lives.
