Humans are imperfect on a number of levels. We're greedy and selfish. We lie, cheat, and steal sometimes. But, most of all, I think we are imperfect because we expect too much of ourselves and have incredibly high and unrealistic expectations of others. Of course, when standards are not met right away, in the exact way we desire, we are more likely to cut people off than to try again.
Another major way we show our imperfection is in being unsatisfied with whatever we have presently. Somehow we always want to "upgrade", "biggie size it", or trade up for the latest and greatest model available. Why is that? And it's with EVERYTHING. You just got married 2 years ago. Yet the wife just "ain't doin' it for ya " anymore. So you cheat. No satisfaction. Or you make that yearly purchase/lease for the latest version of a Cadillac Coup De Ville 07'! Why? What does it take to be happy with what you have and stop wasting your life constantly underestimating your worth?
We as humans need to learn to rise above adversity and cherish each other for the adorable imperfections that make us unique!
