Sink or swim, you've made your choice,
And you have chosen to let yourself go.
When you could have held on tightly,
You decided to throw.
I tried to pull you up,
Whenever you were down.
But in the end it nearly sank me,
Almost let me drown.
Someday you will wake up,
But I refuse to go on;
Thinking that that time is near,
As you play me like a pawn.
Sink or swim.. have you chosen yet,
If you live or die?
It doesn't matter to you,
How much I want to cry.
But I've found myself,
I've found my strength, my hope, and all my dreams.
Hopefully someday,
You'll sew up your loose seams.
For now you've chosen to run,
Into a life of chaos.
Let us all hope for you,
That you are not a loss.
I throw the lines,
And you refuse.
I beg and plead,
and you abuse.
I love me for who I am,
What can you say for you?
While you lied and deceived,
Forever I've stayed true.
