We all want the latest in fashion and to wear the top designers but most of us cannot afford the price tag that comes with these clothes. All is not lost though, with so many stores offering designer clothing at very discounted prices, filling your wardrobe with the newest fashions this winter is easier and cheaper then ever.
Although the economy might be suffering, it is a great time to get many items at a fraction of what they would normally cost. There are stores that specialize in offering top designers for a discount every day of the year. If you can catch them while they are having a sale, you make come out way ahead.
Some of the top stores that can be found throughout the U.S.are:
1. Nordstrom Rack.
This store offers items sold at Nordstrom department store for 50-60% off and even more on their clearance and sale items. These are top quality items. You can find shoes, handbags, perfume, jewelry and even household items. They carry the top designers and for kids and teens they have the trendy fashions that they all want to have.
2. Marshalls.
This store sells many designer labels and carries everything from shoes, clothing, household goods and even some food items. Each store is a little different and depending on the time of year, sometimes the finds are better then others. Worth a trip often if you live nearby one. During the holiday season they do offer many pre-packaged gifts such as perfume and food items and baskets for discounted prices. Their website today listed Ugg boots for as low as $98.00, a huge discount off their regular prices.
3. T.J. Max.
This can be hit or miss but definitely worth taking a peak at often. You can find designer names discounted year around and sometimes, you can find a super deal. For example a Juicy Couture shirt normally $75.00 was on sale here for $10.00, about 85% off the department store prices. They carry shoes, clothing, household items, perfume, luggage, handbags and even hair products like shampoos. The hair products are often less expensive then the beauty supply stores that require a license to shop there.
4. Loehmanns
This is one of the first discount designer stores and has stayed in business due to the great prices and wide selections. You can find clothing, shoes and some gift items like perfume, handbags and seasonal items as well. This is another store that can be hit or miss depending on the store and time of year. Worth shopping at often since their inventory changes frequently.
Most of these stores are located throughout the U.S. and all are well worth the time to check out often since the inventory does change frequently. Many carry the newest styles and the hottest designers and all have a website that you can order from as well. Many offer free shipping and have a liberal return policy. If you know what you want and tried it on at one of the higher priced stores, it's a great idea to check the websites to see if the same item can be purchased there for a substantial savings.
Last but not least is the mention of ebay, where you can get new and used items for a fraction of the cost you would pay even at one of the discount stores. Just be careful and know what the regular prices are so you know when and what to bid.
This winter with so many choices in designer fashions, keeping yourself dressed in the newest styles is cheaper and easier then ever.
