Why is there so much pain?
Why so much trouble in life?
Why? Why? Why?
A molested child
A murdered kid
Why is there so much pain?
Why so much trouble in life?
Why? Why? Why?
And Jesus said
It makes me cry too
If you will listen and
Just trust and let me take over
I will make it all right.

It's like static on the radio,
this constant white noise keeps me awake,
there's no switch to turn it off,
I feel my past behind me, clawing at my spine
but when I turn to face my foe, I see a narrow line
