"Incremental Growth" is a green sorcery spell printed as an uncommon for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Lorwyn." It is a rather interesting sorcery to have. This is the polar opposite of "Incremental Blight." This is a good card to have if you are playing a deck with a bunch of creatures.
The converted mana cost for Incremental Growth is five. You will need two green mana and three colorless mana to play Incremental Growth. For what Incremental Growth can do, the converted mana cost seems to be somewhat worth it for the most part. Keep in mind that Incremental Growth is a sorcery spell and can only be cast during your turn. There is the possibility that an opponent could counter this one spell.
What does Incremental Growth do in the first place?
You get to pick three creatures. Make sure that none of the creatures have Shroud or Protection from Green. You get to put a +1/+1 counter on the first creature. You get to put two +1/+1 counters on the second creature. You get to put three +1/+1 counters on the third creature. In this respect, you get to boost up three creatures. This is good for you. If you are playing in a team match, you can use it to help your teammate's creatures. In a free-for-all, you can play Incremental Growth on another player's creatures to spite the person who ends up killing you.
If you have a bunch of wimpy creatures, you can use Incremental Growth to boost them up for the most part. With certain cards on the battlefield, your wimpy creatures should get a necessary boost. Incremental Growth adds insult to the injury. There are some ways you can get some interesting use out of Incremental Growth.
If you have "Bramblewood Paragon" on the battlefield, you can pick three creatures with Incremental Growth. Due to Bramblewood Paragon being on the battlefield, creatures with a +1/+1 counter get Trample. In this respect, you can attack with those creatures and hopefully deal combat damage to your opponents.
In a green and white deck, you can have "Cenn's Tactician." Cenn's Tactician gives your creatures the ability to block an additional creature should they at least one +1/+1 counter. In this respect, you can use the combination to boost up your defenses.
Overall, Incremental Growth seems to be an all right card for the most part. However, it is not that great. But, it does not hurt to have a card such as Incremental Growth in your deck.
