Shopping malls offer wonderfully creative Christmas themes and ideas. Arts and crafts are found continuously in the theme designs as well as providing many of the themed items throughout the variety of their stores. Macy's department store in Herald Square, New York City, set the Christmas theme with its creative arts and crafts many years ago and is now available on-line to consumers around the world.

Flea markets and Sale Barns are interesting places to discover hidden ideas and talents. Arts and crafts that many people would not even dream of have been found tucked away in a corner of a stall or booth. Styles and techniques can be observed in the hands and nimble fingers of artists who make their own crafts for sale. Arts and crafts, trades and talents, these people are the real deal when it comes to sharing their insight with those who can appreciate their talents.

Holiday movies

Christmas movies are often staged with designer Christmas themes. Simply pull out some of your favorite Christmas movies, watch the background, and be ready to hit the pause button. There are many Christmas arts and crafts ideas shown in Christmas movie scenes. Focus on the props used in the background for some great ideas. You may be pleasantly surprised to see something that you may not have noticed before.
