"Mirror Entity" is a 1/1 white shapeshifter printed as a rare for the Magic the Gathering expansion set known as "Lorwyn." This is one of the cards that do not really encourage players to build around a certain theme of creatures. You can put the Mirror Entity into a deck with a whole bunch of creatures because it would not really matter for the most part. In a multicolored deck in which there are creatures that help out other creature types, Mirror Entity becomes a pretty invaluable card to have on hand.

The converted mana cost for the Mirror Entity is three. You will need one white mana and two colorless mana to bring Mirror Entity from your hand and onto the battlefield. For what the Mirror Entity can do, the converted mana cost is well worth it.

What does the Mirror Entity do in the first place?

The first ability is Changeling. It means that the Mirror Entity is every creature type at all times. It is an elf, a zombie, a skeleton, a vampire, an ally, and so forth. This is perhaps the first beauty of Changeling. However, it is neither the only nor the main ability of the Mirror Entity.

By paying X colorless mana, creatures you control become X/X and gain all creature types until the end of the turn. In this respect, if you paid ten mana for X, all of your creatures would become 10/10 until the end of the turn. They would be all creature types until the end of the turn.

In an extended format, this ability makes Mirror Entity go good with many of the cards in "Zendikar." In Zendikar, a new dynamic was introduced via a creature sub-type known as the "Ally." Ally creatures work with each other. In regards to the Mirror Entity, it will also be considered an ally. As soon as you bring Mirror Entity onto the battlefield, it would count as an ally. It would trigger the abilities of the ally cards on the battlefield.

If you have cards that support several creature types, you can use the main ability of the Mirror Entity. In this case, all of the creatures would be helping each other for the most part.

Overall, Mirror Entity is a pretty interesting card for the most part. You can put this in a deck full of different creatures. By using the ability of Mirror Entity, all your creatures would be all creatures at the same time. For any creature deck, Mirror Entity seems to be a must have card.
