This year when buying board games for Christmas presents, why not consider some mystery board games? Here are a few very funs ones to look for in your quest for the best ones.
Clue
Everybody loves Clue. The classic "whodunit" game has stood the test of time. With the nine classic rooms and all of your favorite suspects, Clue is a great family game for teens and adults alike. With many variations of the game available such as a Harry Potter edition and others, you'll be sure to find the perfect one for your loved one this Christmas. This is a perfect game for a party but can take quite a long time to complete so you should set a couple hours aside for this one. The game can be hard to understand for the little ones at times so it's recommended for ages twelve and up.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
If you are a fan of the TV show CSI, then you'll love this new mystery board game. Players must use their detective skills to prove the party that they think did it guilty. This is a great game to play with the whole family on game night. The game is recommended for ages 13 and up.
Alibi
Alibi is a very simple mystery board game to play. The game is mostly a card game that you can play quite quickly. Players must just figure out who did the crime and why through a series of deductions. This game is a great game for teens as it will help them learn to reason deductively. Alibi is recommended for ages 12 and up.
Mystery of the Abbey
In Mystery of the Abbey, players take the role of monks in their attempt to solve a murder that occurred in the Abbey. Player's go through asking everyone questions and marking off suspects that don't match the description. This is a great game to get your friends and family interested in the mystery board game genre. The game is very simple to play and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
Harry Potter: Mystery at Hogwarts
If you are looking for a game for the kids, try Harry Potter: Mystery at Hogwarts. A perfect game for youger kids, players will try to figure out who cast what spell where. Harry Potter: Mystery at Hogwarts is recommended for ages 6 and up.
