*Regarding page views: Page view earnings do not accumulate very fast at all. You can increase page views by getting links to your articles from different sources. This way, your articles will have a better chance of increasing in overall page rank. The more links you get, the better chance you have of earning multiple pennies from people looking at your work. If you can get really good links from highly exposed sources, your page views should also noticeably increase.

*Regarding Marketplace: Marketplace is challenging, and it's a hit or miss type of situation. There's no guarantee a publisher is going to buy your article, and it could take them a while to decide.
