Some people fail to write a book because they think they think they lack the time to do it. Great writers always begin by writing in their spare time, and many published authors continue in another career or have a part time job. Finding time to write is part of being a successful writer.

Failure to write a book can also result from the false idea about publishing success. An aspiring writer might lose the motivation to write when a book proposal is rejected, but a successful writer is more persistent.
