There are many facts and opinions surrounding this subject so I will tell you what I know about souls for both living human beings and for people who have passed over.

1. It is a fact that we all dream and as we become more spiritually advanced we can remember our astral travels. For the human body to repair itself your astral body ( or soul) has to leave your body temporarily from an astral cord which is conected to one of your chakra points. This is well known in spiritual circles and for those people who can astral travel on a regular basis.

People who are not as spiritually aware when they are resting normally have their astral body or soul sitting around 30 cm above their physical body.When you become more advanced and aware your astral body will venture farther away from your physical form.

2. It is a fact that exactly when a person dies their body weight decreases by 3 grams. This cannot be explained by medical science, but this is in fact when your soul or astral or ethereal body disconnects from your physical form on a permanent basis. When you are alive your soul or astral body is connected to your physical body by an astral cord.

3. There are documented studies showing that ghosts or ethereal souls exist. In essence what I am saying is that there is the existence of ourselves in thought form if you like, where we have an ethereal body for a period of time until we evolve and move onto a higher spiritual plane of existence. For example there is the material plane where we exist in our etheric bodies. Then there is the mental plane of existence where we exist in thought form only and no longer require the use of our etheric body. Our soul then evolves to a higher plane of existence.

4. I have astral travelled and seen and experienced many ghost forms over the last 30 years. So I know for myself that this is a fact for me. It is not by accident that a piano plays by itself. It is not an accident that a painting jumps off a wall. It is not an accident when a computer switched itself off and on.

Thus if you believe that our soul is our spiritual presence connected to our physical body then we definitely have a soul.
