A Charged Heart
It is no surprise
that you teach others electricity,
since it was you who showed me
a whole new world of conductivity
when you brushed my leg,
took my hand
opened me your eyes, your heart
your trust
your arms;
gave me your smile,
your laughter
and shared your very soul.
Still, you electrify me in a way
that terrifies me
when I feel my heart
near burst
with love.
Happy 1st St. Valentine's Day, my Beautiful Angel.
