How to know what bra size you should wear

It's got to be one of the worst offenses women make: wearing the wrong bra size. They walk around in this "to die for outfit" and ruin it because their boobs are hanging down to their belly button or protruding to make them look like there are four instead of two. But what's a woman to do? Bras are not personally customized, and even if they were, it's unlikely a woman would spend enough to pay for such a service. Have you seen the price of a good bra lately? No women in her right mind would pay extra just to get one customized, but she could pay the outrageous price to get one that fits correctly in the first place.

*Understanding Measurements: When a woman says she is a 36C, what she is really saying is that her back measures 36 inches around her ribcage, under her breasts. The C represents the cup size, or her actual breast mass. To accurately determine your cup size, you measure around your back and across your breasts. Each inch represents a cup size, so if you have one inch of extra flesh there, you are a size A cup. If you have two inches of extra flesh there, you are a size B cup; if you have five inches of extra flesh, you are a DD cup size.

*Accommodating Style When Choosing the Right Bra Size: If you have large breast, you've undoubtedly encountered the scenario of not being able to find pretty bras in your size. You might be able to find a 38D, but you can't find a 36DD. This is where you have a little bit of leeway, providing you try on your bra and make sure it stretches into place correctly before purchasing it. The fact is that different designers make bras differently. Sometimes you can purchase a bra with a larger back size, and decrease your cup size respectively. In other words, for each inch you add to your back, you can take one off your cup. Thus, a 36B bra size could be used in place of a 34C bra size. This trick does not always work. Therefore it is important to try the bra on before actually buying it.

*Wear the Right Style Bra for Your Physique: Bra manufacturers have a field day coming out with new designs, fabrics, and bra perks. They have pushup bras, form-fitting bras, underwire bras, and even bras that minimize cleavage. Don't fall for the sales pitch. These bras may work for some people, but until you try them on, and see how they actually fit you personally, you won't know if they work like they say on your particular body. Bras by nature are not the most comfortable item of clothing to wear. Stick with comfort first, which you will automatically get when you wear the right bra size. Then, go for style, because all the style in the world won't matter if the bra you wear, doesn't fit right in the first place.
