On thought manifestation

To manifest, or bring something in your life through thought alone is a principle that has been talked about, researched and taught for decades. Everyone wants to believe they can simply think about something, visualize it and poof it happens. If it is this easy then why don't we all have everything we desire?

The concept is really simple and it is the basis of most new age and new thought philosophy but the problem is those that are unsuccessful try too hard and get in their own way.

It is true, the first step is to visualize what you want, see yourself as already having it but there is more to it.

There are many different principles, ideas and teachings that will help you to manifest in your life abundance, love and health and while they may differ somewhat in their methods, they boil down to the same basic idea.

Let us take the idea of having more money.

1. Clearly identify what it is you desire.

How much money do you want? It has to be something you can believe in and a specific amount. For illustration purposes, we will use $500.00, the amount needed to fix your car.

2. See your self as already having it.

Once or twice a day, sit quietly, relax and think about how it is possible to visualize something into reality. Then imagine you have the money to fix your car. Don't worry about where it is coming from since those are the details and you should focus on the outcome only. Picture in your mind driving your car and how great you feel that it is fixed. See yourself talking to other people telling them how much better your car rides now that it has been fixed.

Feel the emotions you would feel once your car is working the way it should be. This is the key, the emotion of your desire and the emotion of accepting it is the magic.

3. Be grateful that your car is fixed. Feel the same gratitude that you would feel once it is fixed, now, before it's done.

4. Now release it along with any worry. Don't keep thinking about it and wondering if it's going to happen. This sends a negative image and emotion in your mind and in essence negates what you have just visualized.

If you think about it during the day, just relax and know that it's done and you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Sounds easy right? In theory it is but what happens is we are tied to the idea emotionally and have a hard time with the 4th step. By questioning, worrying and wondering when and if, we sabotage ourselves.

There are some analogies I use and teach others
