Wasn't Al Gore the butt of every joke on Saturday Night Live in the 1990's? Have times changed or what? Al Gore was surmised as the weakest vice president America has seen. Al Gore is now trying to save our planet. America needs to wake up!

I was in high school when Al Gore was in office. I remember how he was portrayed as the court jester. Now, I see him as the kid that cried wolf. What are the effects of global warming on society? News media organizations are trying to scare the hell out of America again. That is the effect of global warming on society. Global warming is another scare tactic brewed up by politicians and sold to television networks. We put men on the moon and send remote control cars to Mars. When are we going to tackle cancer, AIDS, and Hepatitis. We talk about swine flu, Y2K, and global warming. Who is the last T.V. reporter to ask Magic Johnson how he has survived AIDS for so long? Did we cure AIDS? No! Lets scare America with fairy tales of melting glaciers and homeless polar bears.

If Al Gore is the subject expert on Geology and global warming, then Hitler is the subject expert on humanities and world peace. The thought of Al Gore being an expert on anything should blow your mind. In the 1990's Al Gore was portrayed as an idiot every weekend on Saturday Night Live. In the new millennium, George W. Bush was portrayed as an idiot on SNL. What does this mean? Maybe George W. Bush will be popular someday and save the world! Maybe George W. Bush will save us from a planet killing meteor. Maybe Bush and Gore could team up and save the world from "bed head". Everyone would love to see "bed head" stopped in it's tracks.

News media organizations are funded by interest groups. Politicians are secretly funded by interest groups. Both groups are interested in money. Global warming is the money in their pocket. Will we care if glaciers are melting, when terrorists set off a nuclear weapon in your city? We care about homeless polar bears when millions of American kids are homeless and hungry. I love animals, but kids are homeless and starving in our country too. I see commercials for mistreated animals, hungry African kids, and kids overseas that need mosquito nets. Mosquito nets? When are we going to solve fundamental problems within our own country? You know what is a good idea? Let's scare the hell out of America with the thought of global warming.
