Fishy Chips
21 DVD
======

The role of 21 in this scouting epic of utter capitalistic view of our society today; the film depicts how our very own values depends on background concerning financial fire-power. 21 is the ultimate film that subjects its audience to the imbalanced fortunes of money and brains.

21 consists of a huge amount of 'high fives' grey matter usage and that is not required by the viewer, fast women with fast counting skills up to the mandatory number of 52 cards in a pack. On

first sighting I found the idea of Vegas and gambling exciting along with all the potential bright lights and dumb blondes who in this case were quite clever; that was a change going by the amount of US films that have graced my DVD player who seem to divulge beauty as a bigger threat to the human psyche than a good reliable plain librarian assistant. 21 is refreshing and throws no wobbly brain numbing thought processes that could make for interesting after chat; then again who wants thought provoking dialogue feasts when you could just read 1st2thebar reviews, tongue firmly lodged in cheek.

The main character Ben Campbell is a student at MIT and is accepted into Harvard Medical School. The fees are astronomical for the young bright-spark, whose background consists of a Mother who clearly dotes on her only child but has no brass monkeys to rub together; so the only option is to apply for the highest of accolade the 'Robinson Scholarship' which would be worth $30,000 and easily would pay for his Medical student expenses. the problem is the scholarship only admits in distinguished performers who 'dazzle' the panel. Intelligence is not enough, a story of bewilderment is required to stand tall amongst the other applicants who are equally able to be rewarded the
