Christmas tree ornaments, cards, gift wrapping paper, cookies for Santa, place mats, impromptu put together manger scenes are easy craft projects for kids at Christmas. They like to get in the action since Christmas is a delightful time and their anticipation is something to behold. Crafting will work off some of this pent up energy. Also, this is a perfect time to teach them that this holiday is for giving. They learn this by making their own gifts to give to their loved ones and then designing the wrapping paper. Giving also tends to curb some of their natural greediness at this time of year.

Small colored beads - contestation paper punched out dots, aluminum foil dots - will be pasted on the petals to simulate Christmas tree balls.

Have them cut and paste pictures, paste in Christmas sticker in their own arrangements, paste on a bit of seasonal greenery, or whatever. The decoration is for the front, the writing will be on the inside. The name of their
