How to identify a toxic relationship and ways to get out of it

When you are in a relationship, it is sometimes too hard to identify if it is toxic or it is merely a relationship that needs some kind of mending in order to make the relationship work out. Although it is good to make some adjustments so that you will be able to better understand relationships and maintain it, it is not always good. Once a relationship has become toxic, it is not anymore healthy for both of you. Bad relationships could drain you of your energy and affect your daily activities, even your job. You don't need to be an expert in order to identify if your relationship is toxic. Your feelings and the incidents are enough to let you know if you are in a toxic relationship.

Here are signs to identify if a relationship is toxic.

1. You are both unhappy.

2. You cannot end the day without quarreling.

3. Both of you are bored with each other.

4. You are not compatible in many things.

5. You don't miss each other anymore.

6. You don't care what happens to your partner.

7. You are happier when your partner is not around.

8. You are always trying to hurt each other with hurtful words.

9. You are happier with your friends and family than when you are with your partner.

10. You don't appreciate anymore the things that your partner is doing.

When a relationship has become toxic, it's time to get out of it before it is too late. Do not wait for the time when you are both totally ruined before ending the relationship.

How will you get out of a toxic relationship?

1. Talk to your partner about it.

2. Do not assume that your partner will agree with you if you want to end the relationship. Separation is such a pain and there are people who try to cling to a relationship even if it not working anymore. Give your partner time to adjust.

3. End the relationship while there is still respect from both of you.

4. Do not fight before parting. It is better if you stay civil even if you part ways.

5. Let your partner see what's wrong and make your partner realize that it is better for both of you to end the relationship.

6. Be honest with how you feel and be frank to your partner.

7. There is no need to explain things if you both know that things won't work out for both of you.

8. Say goodbye and do not look back. It is better to end the relationship and get over with it.

Parting is very painful, even with the fact that you are not anymore happy and you are beginning to hate the relationship. But that is the best thing to do if the relationship is already threatening your sanity.
