Fall is the time of the year that brings leaf peepers out in hoards and so it should with all the beauty that surrounds you with fall foliage. If you think you have seen all there is to see in fall foliage then you are not finished yet. Canada dresses herself in her finest this time of year and shows a spectacular sight. Here are the best regions for fall foliage in Canada.

British Columbia

British Columbia is one of the most magnificent places to be during the fall. There are aspens everywhere that shows its beauty in golden yellow hues. Alpine larch lends a hand to this beauty whose needles turn golden as they shed and fall to cover the ground in its own shade of yellow. These trees shed in September through late October and are a feast for a peep seers eyes. You wouldn't believe there could be so many different shades of the color of yellow until you find yourself in British Columbia, Canada.

Alberta's Kananaski Country

Alberta offers its own golden coverage in the fall and these can be found up in Kananaskis Country. Here you will find trees dressed in bright yellow and golden browns. The Aspen when they change their dress gives you a golden blanket that can be seen for miles combine this with the yellow and gold of the sub-alpine trees and you are left speechless. The Rocky Mountains offers so much jaw dropping beauty in the fall that it absolutely glows. Keep in mind that the Rockies of Alberta also offers wildlife amongst this golden blanket. Leaf peepers that go to Alberta between September and October will be in for a treat and the Rockies are only about an hour's drive from Calgary.

Ottawa's Rideau Canal

If you are the type of person that likes a little variety and love lots of color when you're leaf peeping Canada's capital is the place for you. Between September and October Ottawa proves to be a panorama of different hues of color. It is here Mother Nature dresses the land in bright reds, oranges and many shades of gold. There are places right in Ottawa that you'll find awesome colors especially around the Rideau Canal. Outside the city you can enjoy spectacular leaf peeping in Gatineau Park which provides trails that are immersed in vibrant colors.

Ontario's Niagara on the Lake

Ontario's Niagara on the Lake will provide you with colors you never thought possible during the month of October. The River Road is dresses in vibrant colors to be enjoyed by the most avid leaf peeper. The most spectacular views can be found between the towns of Queenston
