Getting paid to shop

If you have a keen sense of observation and good memory, this opportunity may be just your cup of tea.

Following are three companies that are seeking shoppers to evaluate products and services. There are no fees to join their workforce and their opportunities are as endless as your willingness to go places. They each cater to different clients; therefore, you can sign up with all three of them and enjoy different shopping opportunities and perks.

Corporate Research International was started in Ohio twelve years ago.
Shoppers are a vital part of the company. Becoming part of their team is easy. You fill out their application, agree to their terms, and you are on your way to various shopping adventures.

Once you are registered, you can choose shops up to 100 miles from your ZIP code.
Majority of shops require that you complete online training and test. These are very easy to follow and you can retake the test immediately, should you not pass it the first time.

Detailed information on what you need to purchase and evaluate at each shop is available before you sign up for the assignment. Shopper's compensation is also listed. This allows you to decide if it is something you want to pursue or if you would rather choose another job.

Once you have signed up for a job and you have completed it, you have a few hours to fill out the online evaluation form. You can use a checklist, they make available per each specific shop, to write down the information requested as soon as you leave the store and then, use this same checklist to complete the online evaluation form.

Payment to the shopper usually comes within two weeks.

About Face offers also a wide range of shops to choose from. Fill out their application and, once accepted, you are well on your way to more shopping experiences.

You can shop in your area, based on your ZIP code, but you can also venture out of your area. If you are planning a vacation and you don't mind mixing business with pleasure, you can check to see if there are any shops available at or near your destination.

As with the previous company, detailed information is made available to you prior to signing up for the assignment. Once the job is completed, you are required to fill out an online evaluation form.

Monetary compensation is generally sent to the shopper about eight weeks after the completion of the assignment.

Mystery Guest was started seventeen years ago in Central Florida.

To become part of their crew you need to fill out an application and once the information has been verified, you will be able to assign yourself to the different shops located within 5 to 50+ miles from your ZIP code.

The information on the assignments is available prior to your acceptance of the jobs.

Some of the shops listed only offer gift certificates both to refund the expense of the visit and to compensate for the performance. Other shops offer monetary payment.

Once you have completed an assignment, you are required to fill out an online evaluation form and compensation will be sent between four to eight weeks after receipt of the evaluation.

All companies require that the shop visit and evaluation be done following their specific instructions. They are also very particular on how the online evaluation forms are completed. They all require complete and coherent sentences and they ask that the text be not typed in all capital letters. Failure to follow any of their requirements will cause your assignment to be voided and you will not receive any refund and compensation connected to that particular shop.

One last note, you can visit and evaluate the same shop only once a quarter or twice a year, depending on the company. If you are not willing to travel more than 20 miles from your area and you live in a small town, this shopping opportunity will not turn into full time employment.
