LOOKING BACK...
In all of you, I look and see
A little part of me in you
And parts of you in me.
One day, while looking in the past
I saw your smiling faces there
And in the reflection, many tears
Shed throughout the years.
And pangs of remorse gripped me
The tears I caused you all
And the tears that you caused me.
It seems so pointless now
With the house so extra still
Engaged in silly battles
Over who had the stronger will.
Erasing time?...Impossible
Yet one more thing I see
The love and yes, forgiveness
Part on me in you
And part of you in me.

Is that of hate
