I gave you my heart -
So vibrant you seemed!
I wasn't suspecting

I gave you my soul:
I thought you were wise
Your spirit amazed me...
You fed me sweet lies.

Or don't you remember
The tales you were told?

A passionate kiss
Confessions and oaths,
Then... years of bliss.

There was none of that...
Oh well, maybe later,
I'll find my true love.
