So cool, debonair,
what lies beneath,
the masks we wear.
While pretending, defending,
to our inner self,
false messages sending.
All smiles with more lies,
always trying to cover,
the truth in our eyes.
Brittle and breaking,
internally quaking,
still continues our faking.
Why do we care?
Damn these masks
that we wear!
