Borderlands is a first person shooter RPG game that promises to bring a new generation of cooperative console RPG gaming to the table. Along with the immersive storyline and awe inspiring gameplay comes a brand new set of Xbox 360 achievements. One of these achievements is known as "Pandora-Dog Millionaire", an achievement that unlocks when the player earns a cumulative total of $1,000,000. However, this achievement is one of the many glitched achievements in the game. In this guide, it will be explained exactly how and why this achievement becomes glitched, and how players can easily get this achievement after it has become glitched.

The Pandora-Dog millionaire achievement is related to a challenge which can be accessed by pressing Y in your mission log. According to the official Softworks forums, the achievements related to challenges are the ones likely to glitch with Pandora Dog Millionaire topping the list. The achievement becomes glitched if the player is in a cooperative game and reaches the $1,000,000 target. However, if the player is the host of the online game, the achievement will still unlock. For this reason, it is important that players achieve the million dollars on single player. It is possible to earn under 1 million, and simply transfer to single player to hit the target to unlock the achievement.

For those who were not as lucky to read this guide beforehand and have suffered the glitch, there are ways in which it can still be unlocked. The first and foremost easiest way is to use the Crimson Fastness farming techniques on single player which will earn you millions in a matter of an hour or less. In order to do this, simply enter crimson fastness, run into the next room and kill the enemies and loot the chests that Claptrap gave you access to. From here, simply enter your menu and exit the game and reload and you will be in Crimson Fastness complete with your loot and the chests and lockers restocked. Repeat this as necessary until you have the desired amount of money.

The second method is while on your main character, simply buy the most expensive equipment possible and have your friend host a game. Drop all of your equipment and leave, then have them invite you back. Join the game on your other character and simply sell all of the equipment to the vending machines until you have just under $1,000,000 cumulative dollars. You can then enter a single player game with this character and sell the remainder of your items in order to unlock the achievement and the subsequent 50 gamerscore.

In essence, 50 gamerscore is a lot to lose for the hardcore gamer. By following this guide, players will be able to unlock the elusive achievement with ease. For those that do not wish to use this guide however, the games programmers have announced that a patch is in the works in order to automatically unlock the glitched achievements if they are checked in the challenge menu on the character which they load. No date for this patch has currently been announced however.
