Wow. AT&T vs. Verizon. Two of the best cellular companies out there. This is where I get to discuss the pro's and con's of both companies and talk about their phones, services, prices, coverage, and all the little things in between. So lets get started shall we.
AT&T -
I like this company because in a way they are pioneers and their not afraid to try the latest technology. I mean they are the ones that bought the iPhone and released it. So come on. Obviously they like being on top of things. Since the iPhone was the most technologically advanced phone out when it was released. Though that's not the only thing about them that I like when it comes to their choice in handsets. Sure they copied Nextel with the whole rugged phone thing by releasing the Samsung Rugby, and now the Motorola Tundra. Which are two of the most durable and impressive phones I've seen in a long time. So we can tell AT&T likes to provide good phones with decent durability to their users. Which is a plus.
I also like the fact of how they use the SIM card idea. That makes changing your phone so much easier, and with unlocking now. The possibilities are endless on which phone you can use on their network by simply having another carriers phone unlocked. So there's a plus. I know I'm the type of person who likes an unlocked phone. For instance. I'm with T-mobile right now and I preffer AT&T phones cause their just better quality and more durable the T-mobiles crap phones. So there's another plus. So score 2 for AT&T.
Their coverage isn't bad either at all. I mean it's not the best. Yet it's not the worse. In my area, where I live. They released their 3G overage over a year ago here. T-mobile is still struggling to get it out here. So again. AT&T is on top of it again.
One of the major things I love about AT&T is that if your a customer by title. Your a family member to them. They take amazing care of their customers. Or so I've seen. I've seen people struggling to pay bills at the end of the month, call AT&T in fear they were gonna break their contract cause they just couldn't afford it, and up front. AT&T worked with them and payed their service for a month just to help out. Which to me is awesome. They really help their customers out when they really need it. Sure you might get the occasional crappy customer service representative but what company doesn't have that from time to time.
So. There's 4 stars for AT&T. Moving on...
