Her soft brown strands
swirl around her bare neck
as her warm sultry breath
meanders down my chest
I watch as the clock
steals away our time
dreading the inevitable
wishing for the impossible.
She breathes a long sigh
that lingers on and on
hoping it will last forever
yet knowing it may be the last.
the touch her skin
draped across mine
reveals the thorn
soon to pierce within
The cruelty of passion
the innocence of love
bargains with my heart
bets on my integrity.
I take one last look
as I gently drift away
I caress her with my thoughts
knowing that soon, so soon, no more.

“Hey kids, get off my lawn.”
The little old man said
“Kids, they have no respect,

Then where were you?
Lonesome and all;
All by alone, I mean all alone.
Cold window panes,

Anything sellable
His headphones
by J.B. Hickock
He felt the soft sunlight fall across his shoulders like a warm blanket,
He heard the tinkling of the brook like the laughter
