As the nation debates health care reform, whose voice is being heard the most: Citizens, politicians or special interests?

Who Voice is Being Heard ?

I think Politicians and Special Interest parties.

Here's why:

As the United States Debates over reforms and procedure the only voices that we are hearing are the reporters comments.

I haven't heard from any one in the white house or any politician, when i mean heard. I am saying that they haven't provided a statement or a specific opinion to what is going to happen.

Everyday I turn on CNN and you hear the reporter saying today we have comments from the republic policy maker, then we hear what he says. The same statement made that if the republicans would of been in control of the bill they would of had a different policy. Then the next day we here from the democratic leader stating. That if the republican leader would help they would have a better health care for the American people.

Then theirs always a statement from the white house representative giving comments on a bunch of other issues such as the economy, the jobs that people are losing and the automobile industry. Then again when asked with the same question they avoid it.

I believe that the government should be more responsible for helping it's people, they released a report the other day saying how much money the health care industry makes and how the government is planning on helping the people through different policies. The intend to increase the cost of health care so that everyone can have health care, why would i want it ?

I though what they were doing was lowering health care? IS this a conspiracy? I understand that the united states government is under allot of pressure not only from the people and from the health care industry but should the government really increase the cost of health care when we are in a bad economic time?

Should the government make any attempt to make it more difficult for companies and hospitals that care for patient to increase it's restrictions thus making it harder for us to be able to use the medical system? Is this so difficult that no one can explain it in lay-mens terms to the average American family that barely makes 50k a year.

An when you look at the average politician salary at over 100k a year just for one person, then with all the added perks they get free government vehicle, body guards, secretaries, perks and bonuses. Their salary is really in the high six figures a year plus the fact they get free medical. So it doesn't affect the politicians if they increase medical expenditures because at the end of the day they don't pay
